How RTK, PPK and NTRIP work

To achieve centimeter precision Reach RS uses the technology called RTK.

Lidar (also called LIDAR, LiDAR, and LADAR) is a surveying method that measures distance to a target by illuminating the target with pulsed laser light and measuring the reflected pulses with a sensor. Differences in laser return times and wavelengths can then be used to make digital 3-D representations of the target.

PHC – Pressure & Humidity Control for insulating glass & facade

PHC is a patented pressure equalization technology in confined moisture free spaces. Also extraordinary heat and sound attenuation values are achieved. The typical applications are within insulating glass units, suspended facades, such as at the headquarter of EnergieAG in Linz or large outdoor lights, such as at Swarovski Square in Wattens in Tyrol.

Peregrino VTOL is a cooperation between Ivan Tochev / General Laser Tochev & Tochev OG with Dr. Raoul Schild / Schild & Partner GmbH and Thomas Tschirk partly funded by the FFG.

Peregrino is an electrically propelled unmanned drone with a payload up to 5kg. It has a mission radius up to 50 km and is designed for autonomous satellite guided flight operations and centimeter precise positioning.

Mapping Drone

Based on a flying wing General Laser developed a mapping drone which is equipped with our RTK receiver Reach M+.
The serial production is currently being organized. The flight envelope is 50-100km with a flight time of 40 minutes.

Photogrammetric Software

General Laser is 3Dsurvey Distributor and also distributor of the software company Agisoft Ltd. for photogrammetric products such as Agisoft Metashape and Agisoft PhotoScan

C-RAY Lightsystem

C-RAY is a patented light directing system for the interior design and architectural field.
Two rotatable prisms which can be rotated by electrical motors, ensure the movability of the light beam and dynamic light sequences. With this system you are able to control just the light rays instead of moving the whole lighting body.

On the control side, a position and dimming value storage is provided. The planned applications of the light-guiding system are versatile, from architectural lighting indoors and outdoors, theater and stage lighting to observation cameras.

Departure partially funded the design and development of prototypes in this project. C-RAY is a cooperation project with Dimitre Tochev and Johannes Jungel-Schmid.

Laser Systems

Since 1999 we produce laser systems for different applications. Currently we offer cutting machines and engraving machines. Our laser systems are suitable for cutting, welding, drilling, marking and engraving. Due to the high speed without mechanical wear, laser systems find wider applications in material processing.

In addition to a large number of standard mechanics, we also offer you the option of determining the working area yourself. The structure of the mechanics is made of light and stable metal profiles, which allow high dynamics. The linear guides are made of hardened steel, optionally stainless for rough working conditions.

After selecting the mechanics, the appropriate numeric control will be determined - currently we can offer up to 6-axis "off the shelf" controls. In special cases we can also offer controls with more than 10 axes.

The appropriate driver software is included in the package, the CAD-CAM software with customized post-processor, we can provide or recommend the right package.

Optionally, the machines can also be equipped with extras such as cooling, activated carbon extraction system, enclosure, etc. Since we produce many unique pieces, we offer an optimal solution without extra charge. The modular design allows us this flexibility.

When all the components are finalized, we build your system, customized to your needs and budget: inexpensive and with all the extras you need.
If you need a quotation for a laser system, inform us which materials should be processed in which thicknesses and formats. Describe the task as accurately as possible so that we are able to offer the most suitable system.

3D Milling Machines

We build lightweight, but very robust machines made of aluminum profiles with hardened linear guides, which can also be made of stainless steel. These are suitable for milling in plastic, metals, such as e.g. aluminum or brass, PU mold materials or wood.

The modular design allows us great flexibility in the mechanical design - at no extra cost. As standard sizes we have machines with travel ranges from (x-y-z) 400x400x100mm to 2310x1410x500mm.

The machines can be designed both as an open table version and with a sound-absorbing enclosure made of aluminum profiles and polycarbonate walls. The enclosure is also to avoid the spread of dust and odor in the working environment of the milling machine
